What are the benefits of being Signatory?
Signatories join their like-minded peers as thought leaders in their industry. As the number of BFO signatories increases, we're able to engage our community of banking and finance professionals through networking events and other activities that encourage knowledge sharing on ethics in the industry.

How do I become a Signatory?
To commit to The BFO you must sign-up to each element of the Oath. We ask that you take some time to think about what each commitment represents.
Once you have confirmed your commitment to The BFO, you will be registered as a BFO Signatory and your name will be published on the signatories page of The BFO website.
Please note that you will be asked to provide details about yourself when committing, this is so that we can register you as a BFO Signatory and also track the adoption and influence of The BFO across the industry.
By promising to abide by the principles of The BFO, signatories are affirming that they respect the position of trust accorded to them by society.
Annual Signatory Fee
There is an annual minimum signatory fee of AUD$20. The fee has been set at a modest level so as not to be a financial burden on Signatories.
The funds raised from signatory fees will be used to administer The BFO, communicate with Signatories, host forums and develop related initiatives.
You will be asked to reaffirm your commitment to The BFO each year on the anniversary of your membership. At this time we would encourage you to provide The BFO with examples of how you have lived the commitments (taking into account considerations of confidentiality).
Please contact us if you would like guidelines on how to draft this information.
