100% Committed

Although The BFO is an individual commitment, rather than organisational, there is an opportunity to recognise and encourage full organisational commitment through all staff becoming Signatories.
The ‘100% Committed’ initiative presents the following benefits for organisations:
·       Organisations, particularly financial advice and planning firms, can build trust with clients through demonstrating they have full commitment to The BFO.
·       Firms can be recognised through a ‘100% Committed’ symbol that can be displayed on their website and promotional materials.
·       The building of a community and network of like-minded individuals.
Verifying Commitment
An organisational representative will be required to verify that all staff are Signatories.

Encouraging 100% commitment within the organisation

1.     Have The Board and senior executives take The BFO
2.     Provide the BFO for consideration to all employees with an endorsement from the leaders who have committed to The BFO either in person, at team meetings or by email.
3.     Provide the ‘Hear from The BFO board' film as an overview.
4.     Have a BFO Board member/executive present The BFO to teams.
5.     Provide group meeting and create a ceremonial environment, allowing employees to talk about issues they may feel need exploring or are not comfortable with. You can print the certificates and present them.
6.     You may choose to cover the costs as an industry expense.
7.     Provide information about The BFO at inductions identifying the aligned values and complementary nature with values and codes of the organisations.
8.     Provide information at universities and graduate seminars.
9.     Encourage employees to include The BFO signatory logo on their correspondence.
